Could Be Improved

The two clamping plates that attach to the head should be made wider by at least 3” and the retaining bolt twice as long.

I really struggled to position the as supplied ones in a manner that held a roe head, that at best is a bronze medal, securely. Had it been silver/gold or just simply thicker of antler this bracket would not have worked as intended.

Wish I had purchased one of these sometime ago. ( Much better than the old “G” clamp and wedges I used to use.) this boiling clamp attached to the boiling pan rim adjusted easily to hold the Roe skull in ideal position - with good results, provided I used some pliers to tighten the wing nuts sufficiently enough to hold all firmly in place. Degreased and cleaned up easily after use for the next one...
