Bore Tech's V-Stix Pistol Rod is a one-piece cleaning rod for handguns chambered from .22 rimfire up to .45 calibre, with a 7in working length sized for pistol and revolver barrels. This is the fixed-handle stainless steel version - rather than the free-floating, ball-bearing handle fitted to the standard V-Stix pistol rod, the handle here is fixed to the rod, for shooters who prefer a handle that doesn't rotate while cleaning. The rod itself shares the same rigid construction as the rest of the V-Stix range: a stainless shaft finished in Bore Tech's durable, chemically resistant coating that resists bow and flex. It's colour-coded black to identify it at a glance as the .22-.45 calibre V-Stix among a wider cleaning kit. A replaceable brass tip on a female 8/32 thread takes standard jags and brushes without a separate adapter, and being brass it won't mark the bore or crown during cleaning. Bore Tech recommend using a muzzle guard alongside the rod to protect both the pistol's muzzle and the rod while cleaning.
