The RIX Optics Leap L3R is a dedicated thermal imaging riflescope built for night shooting, vermin control and deer stalking, mounting on standard 30mm rings. At its heart is a 384x288 VOx thermal sensor with a 12 micron pixel pitch and NETD below 20mK, paired with a fast 35mm f/0.9 lens that keeps the image bright and detailed in rain, snow or heavy humidity. A true 3.2-9.6x continuous optical zoom, backed by 1-4x digital zoom, delivers a clean, pixel-free picture out to a detection range of 1,969 yards, viewed on a sharp 1920x1080 AMOLED display, with 0.35 MOA reticle precision for a confident shot. The laser rangefinder is built directly into the lens system, ranging out to 1,312 yards to within 1 metre and feeding an onboard ballistic calculator for instant holdover data. Photos and video record at 1280x720 to 32GB of built-in memory, and built-in Wi-Fi links to the RIX+ app for live viewing and firmware updates. Housed to IP67 and rated to withstand recoil up to 6000 Joules, it's built for larger-calibre rifles and shotguns. An 18650 battery gives around 4 hours of runtime, with USB-C external power for extended sessions.
