The Skechers Edgeride - Rekze is a lightweight trainer built for boys who don't slow down on the playground. A mesh and synthetic overlay upper keeps the foot breathable, with a lace-up front and an adaptive closure design that's built to withstand the wear and tear of daily play. Underneath, a durable rubber outsole is reinforced with a bottom plate for extra durability where kids' shoes take the most punishment, and a cushioned comfort insole adds support for school, play and everything in between. At 1 1/4 inches, the heel sits low enough for a natural, active stride. The whole shoe is machine washable, so scuffed toes and muddy playgrounds are no trouble to put right.
