Meindl’s history takes us back to 1683. Petrus Meindl was the first family shoemaker in Kirchanschoring, Bavaria, Southern Germany.

Fantastic boots

Tough but instantly comfortable

Very well made boots, instantly comfortable. Very supportive and slightly stiff at the ankle but I'm sure they will soon break in. First outing was a long mornings stalk, walking quite some way but the boots gave me no problems at all. Very pleased.

When buying these boots buy the right size and you will have to put aside 1 -2 weeks of beading them in and you will have them for a long time
Warm water and lots of mink oil later

One toughest boots av worn by miles

4th pair, 3rd time lucky.

These are my 4th pair of these, and they are fantastic. My 3rd pair died after a week, as they changed the glue that holds the rand. They have clearly gone back to what works. Bravo Meindl. Best boots for big, wide feet. I live in these boots for 16 hours a day. I get 2-3 years a pair, and they are superb. Cannot fault the old fashioned quality.

JSB Match Diablo Light weight 4.51 pellets

The pellets arrived in a sorry state I’m afraid. Package was not up to the job of protecting them. The tin had 3 dents in and many pellets damaged. Not ideal when I needed them for a competition in a few days. Got in touch with Bushwear and told them my thoughts on packaging. Don’t think this sunk in. Anyway they were most helpful and asked me to return them at no cost to me for replacement. Told them that this was not possible as they were needed in a few days and I would have to select the undamaged ones from the tin. After I told them my situation they gave me discount on my pellets. I guess that was all they could do. I won’t be buying pellets again from bushwear. Overall though they did try to resolve my issue so I won’t be put off using them again for other items.

Good product let down by the seller. Having delt with Bushwear several times they are consistently slow to dispatch. I have even had dispatch confirmation from Bushwear and the item was never sent!!
