Easily capable of lifting a 200Kg animal single handed, one person can maintain full control and safely perform a suspended gralloch. Until now the only option has been to process on the ground, which is not considered best practice, or to use conventional pulleys.

Anyone who has ever done so knows just how much excess rope is involved and it must of course be tied off somewhere safely. But now the new AUTO LIFT makes the whole exercise simple safe and Hygienic.

The 2.5 metre self-retracting lifter, can be attached to any fixed anchor, such as the Tree Hugger or Autoclick, the unique 2 part gambrel is fitted and the animal is raised safely and quickly. Each ratchet movement lifts 3cm so it is fast and requires no tie off. You stop, It stops.

No tangled ropes, the whole kit auto retracts into a compact size together with the 2 part Apex Gambrel for easy storage and carrying, it weighs just 1.34 Kg and sits neatly in a pocket of the APEX PREDATOR or a Napier Waist bag. Each AUTO LIFT is supplied with a special gambrel, and will lift 200Kg. Using the large Grab Ring it is possible to control the descent when releasing, and deposit the animal directly into a vehicle, so much more convenient and hygienic than allowing it to touch the ground.

Quite rightly, food hygiene rules also apply and most game dealers are not keen on taking a contaminated or unchilled carcass.

Without doubt a cleaner and better evisceration can be carried out suspended, the APEX Autoclick has proven very popular, to perform this on the back of any SUV.
But It's not always possible to access an animal and becomes necessary to do this on the spot.

Usually this involves hunting for a suitable horizontal branch, and hope it does not break part way through!
Not any more, just attach a light weight Tree Hugger kit to your belt and you are ready to go, anywhere anytime.

The kit contains a Hi Vis 2m Strap, that is specially made from Cross Weave Webbing, it is non slip, self gripping and very strong.
2 Strong S Hooks and two pairs of disposable gloves are also part of the Kit.

Simply locate a suitable tree, ALL TREES ARE VERTICAL, so that bit is easy. Min 25 cm and max about 100cm, no need to seek the largest tree in the woods. If you can't hug it its too big!
Then simply wrap the strap as shown and it will self grip. Hock the animal and hang it one leg at a time.
Very simple, hygienic and quick.

JSB Match Diablo Light weight 4.51 pellets

The pellets arrived in a sorry state I’m afraid. Package was not up to the job of protecting them. The tin had 3 dents in and many pellets damaged. Not ideal when I needed them for a competition in a few days. Got in touch with Bushwear and told them my thoughts on packaging. Don’t think this sunk in. Anyway they were most helpful and asked me to return them at no cost to me for replacement. Told them that this was not possible as they were needed in a few days and I would have to select the undamaged ones from the tin. After I told them my situation they gave me discount on my pellets. I guess that was all they could do. I won’t be buying pellets again from bushwear. Overall though they did try to resolve my issue so I won’t be put off using them again for other items.
