The Dakota from Crispi is an excellent boot for long walks on mid-mountain areas and plains.
These Italian boots have been designed with precise foot wrapping fit across the whole surface for greater comfort when walking. They are one of the lighter boots in the Adventure range from Crispi, weighing in at around 700g. With a good height of boot to provide ankle support and a durable outer material, these boots can take on any challenge.
The water-repellent nubuck leather and Gore-Tex membrane guarantee to keep your feet dry. The material is easy to care for with our spray or cream cleaners.
The Dakota boots feature the Crispi Crossbow Frame (CCF). This innovaiton of the shock absorbing system sole is achieved by packaging the requirement for stability, comfort and technology in a high quality product. The insert, made of plastic material, follows a particular form in a waving module which offers perfect stability, supports the foot and absorbs shocks during walking. The result is that stability, walking comfort and impact protection is delivered thanks to the midsole with waving module insert and tread with Vibram Megagrip compound.
Another feature on the Dakota boots that promotes comfort and and protection to your feet is the Crispi Ankle Bone Support System (ABSS). The ABSS greatly improves comfort and protection of the entire ankle area due to a combination of innovative materials that allow the footwear to contour gently around your ankle. The system offers fantastic sprain protection even on the most challenging terrain while supporting the ankle in all condtions. This helps to reduce fatigue on the lower joints after a long day of walking.
A central hinge for excellent control of the foot during the stance phase on various types of terrain ensures mobility and control.
