Pros: Nice camo which blends in with woodland well. Very warm hat in fairness and traps the heat well. Delivery was perfect.
Cons: Sizing off - Normally a medium in most things but would tell everyone but children to order the XL. There is like a 2 layer system going on. Inner layer is nice and tight but outer layer is lose and baggy. Something that bothers me but maybe ok for others.
Maybe a bit expensive for what you get?

Overall it does the job of a hat.

Better Beanie

Not quite 5 stars as despite being a size l/xl is a bit tight on my head. Camouflage pattern seems to be very good. I've done an informal trial with one of my colleagues trying to spot my head in dense woodland. Just wish it was a little larger.

Oilskin 3/4 cut off

This is our 2nd purchase of the same item for both our boys.
They are perfect when doing outdoor smallholder activities & walking etc
We went up a size to take account of a fleece/swandri wool outer layer weather dependent. The waxed oilskin gives that waterproof layer or just a layer over base layers again weather dependent.
Highly Recommended.

Looks a bit see through when I took it from the packet....but looks ok when I put it on. It actually doesn't stink compared to wearing a cotton or polyester t-shirt ( for a couple of days 😄)
Only thing I didn't like is it was a bit scratchy at first ...it might get better when I finally wash it 😃
