This knife is conspicuous for its clawlike karambit shape and two-color pattern on the handle. Like most karambits, the Elite Force EF715 can be held in two ways. The conventional way is to put your little finger through the ring and press your thumb against the spine. With the reverse grip you put your thumb through the ring and wrap your other fingers around the handle. Here your little finger is nearest to the blade. The blade’s satin finish extends to the full tang, which holds the two G10 handle scales. The knife comes with a nylon sheath for safe keeping.

Great value for money

Wasn’t expecting too much given the relatively low price but pleasantly surprised when I opened the (battered) packaging, good weight karambit, ideal for large hands, nice scales, some useful gimping along the edges and razor sharp out of the box. Finger ring is oversized so use with a pair of tactical type gloves is easy. Scales look cool but are quite grippy so if you like doing flips and hand swapping this will slow you down a bit but the plus is that they give a super solid grip. Sheath is pretty awful, I will make a new one, ok for storing it but if you were to wear it on a utility belt for any reason it would only mount and draw on the left (ok if you are LHD)
