The HME™ Products Strap-On Trail Camera Holder securely mounts

to the tree with a heavy-duty ratchet strap eliminating the need to

screw something into a tree (that is illegal in most federal, state

and county forests). This super strong design attaches in less

than a minute and provides rock solid support of the trail camera

mounting system. This added support will allow the user to adjust

the camera angle into desired position without the shifting around

(that the manufacturers attachment system) usually provides. After

attached to the tree the user can mount the trail camera onto

the threaded end of the camera mount so it is facing away from

the adjustment arm and screw the camera lock up and against the

camera to hold that position. Camera head rotates 360° and tilts up

and down 120° for perfect camera placement. This simple, compact

and sturdy design provides a dependable means for supporting all

trail cameras with the 1/4” x 20 thread insert on the bottom.

Great camera holder

This is a really sturdy holder for a trail camera. The ratchet system makes it impossible for it to accidentally move and is easy to setup. Fixing the camera to the holder is easy. I would definitely recommend this.

Good solid camera holder

Solid well built camera holder with strong lengthy strap. Good company to deal with and quick delivery.

Good but could be better

This seems a solid gadget at a good price but has a few shortcomings.
The turn screw requires washers to tighten the The camera to the bracket & is a clumsy fit.
There is limited vertical movement & it is sometimes necessary to turn the bracket upside down to get the right angle.
After only 1 week outside there is signs of rust.

The biggest disappointment is rust after just one week as it looks quite well powder coated & although the fixing to camera is clumsy it feels solid when done up tightly enough.

As the title of this review says, good but could be better!
