Excellent bit of kit

I have used one if these for several years now. So much easier than using just your hands. Gets a good grip and excellent leverage. Wouldn’t be without it especially with my weaker grip these days.

Works really well

Bought as a gift for my partner and he'd never seen one before but was really impressed with how well it worked and how much easier it made the job

Deer skinning claw

Excellent for two handed use on Fallow and above but far too big for Roe.
Some difficulty using it with severely arthritic hands so smaller version which does not require such a wide grip would be even better.

The claw.

Bigger and heavier that I expected. I found it best to grip the inside of the fur, not the fur. It’s a two handed job to use it, the handles are too far apart to grip with one hand, this means you can’t pull on the claw and nip the skin with a knife at the same time.two people make it easier to use.

Excellent piece of kit

Used it for the first time yesterday on two Roe deer. Delighted! Much easier and faster especially as I am now 67 years old and have a bit of arthritis in my thumb joints. Pleased I bought this.
